Refund policy

 

We truly hope that you love everything in your order, however, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Items purchased at full-price may be eligible for return or exchange upon approval. Please email us at customerservice@oatco.com if you have a return request.

 

For any items purchased on sale we offer store credit. We offer prepaid shipping labels for a $6-8 fee — store credit is issued once the item is received.

 

Returns are subject to a $6-$8 shipping/handling fee. This fee covers the cost of the return label and repackaging costs.

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer for all refunds.

 

* An item may be returned if it is sent back:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • With original tags and packaging intact
  • Free of stains, odors, hair (animal or human), and damage
  • We are notified by email to customerservice@oatco.com within 14 days of delivery that you would like to make a return. 

 

Items cannot be returned after the 14-day timeframe, no exceptions.

OAT reserves the right to refuse any return/exchange that fails to meet these requirements. 

 

*Once you receive your order you have 14 days to email us at customerservice@oatco.com to notify us that you would like to make a return. Once we receive your email, your request has been logged and our team will reach out soon. This means that even if it takes our team time to respond to your email your return request has been submitted!

*Once we contact you we will provide you with your return instructions. You will then have 14 days from the date these are issued to send your returns back to us.  

At OAT we work to display, describe, and detail our products. We also provide sizing charts on all of our pieces to ensure a proper fit. This information can be found on each product description page.

If you are unsure what size to choose we suggest sizing up. Full-priced items are eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit if they do not fit properly. Sale and discounted items are eligible for store credit. 

Please inspect all items in your order upon receipt (even when purchasing for a baby yet to be born) to ensure any issues are addressed within your order's return window. We also encourage trying items on to make sure they fit properly so that any returns or exchanges can be done within this return window as well. Simply email us at customerservice@oatco.com and we will be happy to assist you!

 

Exchanges: 


We offer our US customers easy exchanges on full-priced purchases. Contact us at customerservice@oatco.com and our amazing team will assist you in switching out your items.

For our international customers we offer easy returns. Just cover the cost of shipping the item back to us in new condition. 


 

RETURN ELIGIBILITY:

 

FULL-PRICED ITEMS:

Full-priced items are eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit if they are: 


  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • With original tags and packaging intact
  • Free of stains, odors, hair (animal or human), and damage
  • *We are notified by email to customerservice@oatco.com within 14 days of delivery that you would like to make a return. Once our team has provided you with your return instructions your items must be returned within 14 days after which all sales are final.

*Full-priced items purchased using a BOGO (Buy One Get One) sale or discount code do not qualify as full-priced purchases. Due to the nature of the sale, buying an item at full price is a condition of the sale. Because it is a condition of the sale it is part of the sale offer and qualifies for store credit only.

*Due to hygienic reasons, all purchases of swimwear are final sale and ineligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.

*If you received a promotional free gift with your purchase these items are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.


SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS:

Sale and discounted items are eligible for store credit ONLY if they are:


  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • With original tags and packaging intact
  • Free of stains, odors, hair (animal or human), and damage
  • *We are notified by email to customerservice@oatco.com within 14 days of delivery that you would like to make a return. Once our team has provided you with your return instructions your items must be returned within 14 days after which all sales are final.

*Mystery Box Returns: All items within our Mystery Boxes are eligible to be returned for store credit. Store credit will only be for the prorated value of the items in relation to the Mystery Box cost. 


INTERNATIONAL RETURNS:

International returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer to cover shipping costs.

OAT is not responsible for returned items lost in transit. 



GIFT RETURNS:

 

Gift returns are eligible for OAT store credit ONLY.

  • Items must be returned within 14 days from when the purchaser received their order. 
  • Gift returns require the original purchaser's name and order number.
  • Please email customerservice@oatco.com for assistance with all gift returns.


RETURN PROCESS:

  • Contact Us:

    • Name the order was purchased under
    • Order number
    • Email address associated with the order
    • Shipping address
    • Desired eligible* outcome (refund, exchange, store credit, etc.)
      • *See Eligibility section above
  • Return shipping:
    • If you are shipping within the United States you can return your new and unused item(s) by mail using our *prepaid return shipping label or by shipping via insured, traceable means (such as UPS, USPS, and FedEx). Contact us at customerservice@oatco.com for detailed return information and instructions.
    • *When using our prepaid return label $6 USD will be deducted from your refund or store credit for shipments weighing under 12 ounces and $8 USD for shipments weighing over 12 ounces.
    • Once your return is received, it may take up to 7-10 business days for it to be processed.
    • Refunds are processed to the original form of payment.
    • Merchandise returned with a gift receipt will receive OAT store credit.
    • OAT is not responsible for returned items lost in transit. 


RETURN PROCESS & FULFILLMENT: 

Once your return is received it will be inspected according to the standards described in our Eligibility section detailed above. This process may take up to 10 business days once the return is received. Depending on what you elected and what your purchase is eligible for, you can expect the following: 

  • Money-Back Refunds:
    • We will issue a refund to your original payment method. Refund payments can take up to ten (10) days depending on your original payment method.
  • Exchanges
    • We will complete your exchange and ship your updated order to you as soon as possible.
  • Store Credit
    • Store credit will be emailed to you in the form of a digital gift card. The digital gift card will be sent through our notification system to the email address associated with your order. You can then use your store credit to purchase alternative sizes, styles, or gifts for your family and friends. You can also give your store credit to someone special simply by forwarding the digital gift card on to whomever you wish.


ITEMS RETURNED TO OAT PAST 14-DAY RETURN WINDOW:

Once our team has provided you with your return instructions your return must be initiated within 14 days after which all sales are final. Should we receive returns initiated past their 14-day window OAT reserves the right to remedy the return as it deems necessary and suitable.


ITEMS RETURNED TO OAT VIA 'RETURN TO SENDER':

We will attempt to contact the purchaser should any order be returned to OAT via the courier and marked 'Return to Sender'. We will provide the following three remedy options:

  • Reship your package.
    • Applicable shipping fees apply.
    • Updated shipping information required.
  • Gift Card.
    • If your order was a gift, we can return your order and assist you in sending your gift recipient an OAT digital gift card instead!
  • Return the items in your order *based on our Return Policy eligibility requirements.
    • *Sale/discounted items will be returned for store credit.
    • *Full-priced items can be returned for a refund or store credit, whichever solution is preferred.

If the purchaser does not respond to our attempt of communication within 14 days we will return the items in the order and provide store credit. Store credit will be issued in the form of a digital OAT gift card and automatically sent to the email address associated with the original order. An additional $8 handling and restocking fee will be deducted.


WARRANTY INFORMATION:

We take pride in our workmanship and build our products to last. In light of this commitment, we are confident your item will last through standard wear when included use/care instructions are followed. In the rare occurrence you receive a damaged or faulty item please email us at customerservice@oatco.com within 30 days of receipt of your product and provide detailed photos of the garment, faulty area, and size label. Our quality care team will evaluate the issue and if it is found to be a manufacturing defect items that are in their new and unworn condition will be replaced if we have the stock to do so. If we are out of stock we will provide a refund for full-priced items and store credit for sale and discounted items. If the item has been washed, worn, or is otherwise inconsistent with our Return Policy, our quality care team will appraise the issue along with the life of the garment and provide either store credit based on the residual value of the item or repair the garment. All garments over 30 days are outside of this warranty period. Therefore, we encourage you to evaluate your items as soon as they are delivered to ensure any issues are covered by this warranty.


REFUND POLICY UPDATES:

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of this Refund Policy by posting updates and/or changes to our shop. It is your responsibility to check this policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our shop following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
